Deal support

Everything the deal needs.

Publisher in a Box runs the sale and the services around it, so a buyer or a seller closes an entity transfer without assembling five vendors first. Some of these run today. The rest are in development, and this page says which is which.

Run by Publisher in a Box.

Publisher In A Box delivers these with its own team. Each one has a page on the main Publisher In A Box site with the full scope and the current terms.

Professional Asset Valuation

Free on Elite Listings

Publisher Market values the asset before it goes to market, so the asking price rests on documented numbers rather than a guess.

  • Our team reviews revenue history, payout records, traffic, and primary expenses.
  • You keep the written valuation report whether or not the asset lists.
  • Included free on every Elite Listing. Available on its own as a paid engagement.
  • On an Elite Listing, Publisher Market also earns the success fee when the asset sells.

Turnkey Management

50/50 revenue share

Publisher Market operates the asset for the owner on a revenue split, so a buyer with no operating team has one from day one.

  • We run curation, posting cadence, and monetization on the owner's behalf.
  • A 50/50 split on revenue earned under management. No retainer.
  • Buyers acquire an asset they have no staff to run and hand operations to us at close.
  • Sellers who stay under management through the handover give the buyer continuity.

Elite Consulting

$8,000 to $65,000

A defined engagement that puts our operating team alongside the owner, from audit through execution plan.

  • Tiered packages from $8,000 to $65,000, priced on scope.
  • Built on the Publisher In A Box 5-Pillar Framework: curation, content, engagement, reach, and monetization.
  • Buyers use it to take over an asset they intend to run themselves.
  • One-time engagements. We build the system and hand it off.

4 services · not live yet

These are the pieces buyers ask for around a close. We have not signed a partner for any of them, so nothing here is for sale and no card hands you off to a third party. Registering interest tells us where the demand sits and puts you first in line.

Company formation

Intended partner: Tailor Brands

Every sale here is an entity transfer, so a buyer without a US company needs one before the close, and Publisher Market plans to route that through Tailor Brands.

  • Publisher Market has not signed this arrangement yet. Nothing here is for sale today.
  • The seller transfers 100 percent of an operating entity, and the buyer needs an entity to receive it.
  • Buyers who need a company right now should use their own counsel or filing service.
  • Tell us you want it and you go on the list for the day it opens.

Acquisition financing

Buyers fund an acquisition from cash, a lender, or the seller, and Publisher Market already structures the seller route into a transaction today.

  • Seller financing and earnouts: we structure these into a deal now, and they are common at marketplace deal sizes.
  • SBA 7(a) loans: a route for qualifying US buyers acquiring a business with established cash flow. Publisher Market does not originate them.
  • Specialist online-business acquisition lenders and revenue-based finance exist as a market. Publisher Market holds no lender arrangement.
  • Lender introductions are in development. Publisher Market gives no financial or investment advice at any point.

Reps and warranties insurance

M&A insurance pays a buyer when a seller representation turns out to be wrong after the close, and Publisher Market is scoping a provider.

  • Standard on larger M&A transactions and still rare at the deal sizes this marketplace trades at.
  • It sits behind the seller warranties in the purchase agreement rather than replacing them.
  • Publisher Market has no insurance partner and no broker relationship in place today.
  • Register interest and we contact you once a named provider is live.

Cross-border structuring

A buyer outside the United States who acquires a US operating entity needs a structure to hold it, and Publisher Market is scoping a referral route to advisors who are licensed to build one.

  • Buyers and sellers anywhere use the marketplace. The structure question is about the entity, not the account.
  • Cross-border tax and entity questions need a licensed advisor. Publisher Market is not one.
  • Publisher Market is scoping the referral route. Nothing is live and nothing is for sale here.
  • Buyers who register interest let us size the demand before we commit.

Two paid placements put a live listing in front of the Publisher Market audience, both subject to editorial approval. We run both on channels we own. No placement ever appears on a client page, and editorial keeps the right to decline a listing that does not fit the audience.

What Publisher Market does not do.

The limits, stated

A services page that lists only what a company sells tells you half the story. Here is the other half.

Publisher Market never holds your money

Social asset transfers at $5,000 and above settle through Escrow.com. Below that, you and the seller arrange payment, and Publisher Market recommends escrow. On Escrow.com the buyer funds the escrow account directly and Escrow.com releases to the seller after the buyer confirms the transfer. On an Elite Listing, Publisher Market collects its success fee through Stripe Connect after escrow releases, never before. Direct Listings carry no success fee.

Publisher Market gives no legal, tax, or investment advice

Publisher Market structures transactions and prepares the entity transfer paperwork. Opinions on your tax position, your financing, or the enforceability of an agreement come from a licensed professional, not from us.

Publisher Market introduces outside advisers, it does not represent you with them

Where a deal needs counsel, an accountant, a lender, or an insurer, Publisher Market points you to qualified people and steps back. We name a partner on this page only after the arrangement is signed.

Start with the asset, not the add-ons.

Find something worth acquiring or put your own asset in front of buyers. The services attach to the deal once there is a deal.
